Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The hotel is absolutely fantastic located on top of a village with a breathtaking view, once you are in the gardens. The renovation is perfectly done (however, noise insulation is quite poor) and the hotel has a wonderful atmosphere qua architecture and style. But service and hospitality is missing. There is a gap between the hotel and the way it is run which is a pity as it is kind of a 5-star hotel but with a 1-star character or without soul. This might be because we went there in off season. The breakfast was actually really nice but the way it is served is without any charme. We have to admit that value for price is very good and we would definitely book it again as the village is so charming and the location, pool and monestary charm of the hotel is really unique.
