Positive: The host of this accommodation is one of the kindest and most hospitable person I have ever met in all my years of traveling. She doesn’t speak any language other than Italian, but that never caused any problem in our communication. The house is a typical, traditional countryside home, full of charming decorations and details made with love. If you are looking for an apartment that feels like a hotel room, this might not be the right place for you. But if you want to experience the warmth and beauty of a true home, this is the perfect spot.

Negative: My only recommendation is not to drive all the way to the apartment — it’s better to leave your car in the local parking area. Driving through the narrow streets of Savoca can be stressful, especially when tourist buses are around.

Summary: Highly recommended for those who want an authentic and heartfelt experience!
