Positive: What a gem of a place to stay! The nice owner met me half way, to show the best way (500m gravel road) to reach this peacefull place. The property is in the middle of olive trees and the very large room plus generous bathroom is in the first floor (via a typical italian step staircase) with a little balcony from where you can see Manfredonia and the ocean. Beautiful tiling, timber ceiling and freshly renovated inside and out, with a very comfortable double bed. Tasteful indirect light features and USB A + USB C are nice gadgets and provide a practical modern touch. The car can be parked in the yard, property gate can be locked. Its only a 5 minutes drive into the city and around 10 min to the beaches ie Lido Macchia. A windy road closeby gets you up to Monte Sant Angelo for a day trip or to visit the Gargano forest. I felt very safe and secure, even I was on my own and had the whole place for myself. Liked it so much- that i added a extra night which was easy to arrange with the lovely father and son team. Communication was italian only, but thanks to ChatGtp used as a translator no problem at all. Would stay here again at any time. In addition, the rate per night was very, very reasonable.

Negative: The only "negative" part is, that googlemaps is unable to guide to the location properly. Its trying to detour you around in a massive detour. But once arrived, its easy to find back (without googlemaps)
