Large living/bedroom with kitchenette and dining area, fully equipped kitchen (dishwasher, glass-ceramic cooktop, oven, refrigerator, toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker), flat-screen TV, hallway with built-in closets, bathroom with bathtub and window, clearly defined areas for living, dining, and sleeping, and the most beautiful garden view of all the apartments.
Whether on the terrace, in the rose pavilion, in the orchard, or in the park, you’ll always find a cozy spot to relax. Sun loungers and a barbecue area are also available for your use.

Villa Liebetrau is a beautiful Art Nouveau villa on the edge of the Thuringian Forest. It enjoys a pleasantly quiet location at the edge of the forest, at the start of the spa promenade, with a view over the health resort of Friedrichroda, renowned for its therapeutic climate. The property has been completely renovated. This has resulted in five stylishly furnished vacation apartments that make every vacation a memorable experience. As of fall 2018, our apartments have once again been rated 5 stars. All apartments are connected by a shared stairwell and can be individually combined for use or booking, allowing us to accommodate groups of up to 12 people in total.
The property is situated in the middle of a private park and serves as an ideal starting point for mountain biking and hiking tours. The park covers an area of 5,700 square meters. Here you’ll find a romantic rose pavilion, a water basin, a fountain, plenty of space to relax, an orchard, benches, shaded and sunny spots, as well as a small forest. A barbecue area is also available. Our sauna (including sauna towels & bathrobes) is available to you free of charge after a strenuous day.
Several shopping options, cafés, restaurants, doctors, a modern hospital, banks, a train station, bus stops, etc., are all within walking distance.
The area around Friedrichroda is characterized by the impressive landscape of the Thuringian Forest. The Rennsteig hiking trail is practically right on our doorstep.
