Travel Purpose: business

Positive: This is a very large apartment, with a fantastic sea view. The apartment is very well equipped, with all types of dishes, more than enough silverware, different pots and pans. Fiorella, the host, left a new bottle of shower gel, toothpaste, mineral water, essentials to get started. The Internet WiFi connection worked very well without any problems. The host was always very responsive and gentle, responding to all my questions fast enough. It was a real pleasure that the responses were so fast. There is enough parking space on the property, so parking the car is very convenient. I need to say that this review does not really include the whole apartment because, as I was only one person, the host locked the unnecessary rooms, and I only had access to one bedroom (the main bedroom) and one bathroom. This did not bother me but please make sure that you clarify it beforehand if you have different needs. Please note that the apartment is accessed through 2 flights of stairs, as the entrance is via floor -1 and the apartment is on floor 1. There is no elevator. Also, please note that there is no beach on this section of the coastline, which is essentially cliffs with some "lidos". There is a fantastic beach near Fiumifreddo, which you can access in 30 minutes by car (this is a pebble beach, so bring special shoes for this). Look for "spiagge libere" near Fiumifreddo on Google Maps.

Negative: The apartment does not include the access to a washing machine, which is certainly an inconvenience after a few days. When I asked the host about this, she said that there is a washing machine in the apartment, but not for guests. She organized that the maid came once during my 9-day stay to wash my clothes, which was quite convenient. However, it would have been more convenient to just have access to a washing machine. Overall, this was a minor inconvenience for a fantastic place to stay, and Fiorella helped to solve it anyway.
