Before being used for housing purposes, in the first years of its establishment, the house was used as a barn and later as a cellar to store wine and other seasonal food that were cultivated and collected in the area.
The holiday home is named in memory of Cesira Federici , wife of Egisto Maggi , who with so much love and dedication offered guests a welcoming place where they could sleep and refresh themselves. In fact, many inhabitants of the town, at the turn of the 60-70s, stayed in the house for long periods. Cesira was also a direct forerunner farmer .
