With our Chalet Herz³, we—Melanie and Matthias—are fulfilling a dream that we would love to share with you through our “hearts³”—Magdalena, Emilia, and Gloria.
This newly built wooden chalet was completed in March 2024 with great attention to detail. It was constructed in a modern style and meets the highest energy efficiency standards. The path from the private parking lot, through the house, to the covered porch with a hot tub is all at ground level. Inside, you can make yourself comfortable with a top-of-the-line flat-screen TV featuring various streaming services, a wood-burning stove, and a private sauna. A modern kitchen is at your disposal, and for breakfast, we offer a complimentary bread roll delivery service from the bakery in the neighboring village.
The chalet, with unobstructed views of nature, is located in a small hamlet of Schönbrunn am Lusen, just 3 km from the Lusen National Park Center and the Bavarian Forest Treetop Walk. The National Park Bike Trail and many beautiful hiking trails are just a few minutes’ walk away. Outdoor swimming pools, natural swimming ponds, and a golf club are also within a few kilometers. The towns of Freyung and Grafenau are 10 km away, and Passau is 35 km away. When it comes to dining, there’s definitely something for everyone in the area.
