Our vacation rental has a long and unique history. Built in the 1970s, the building served as a restaurant for many years and was a lively gathering place for guests and locals alike. Until the early 2000s, the building was characterized by social gatherings, events, and dining.
After its time as a restaurant, the building was initially used as a storage space and lay dormant for several years. But in March 2025, a new chapter began: With a great deal of personal effort, dedication, and skilled craftsmanship, we began extensive renovation work to transform the former rooms into a modern and cozy vacation rental.
Almost everything was renewed in the process: The old subfloor was removed, the entire floor structure was rebuilt, new windows were installed, and the layout was completely transformed by erecting new walls. Step by step, the former inn was transformed into a place of comfort—with the goal of preserving the character of the house while also providing modern comforts.
Today, our vacation rental combines history, craftsmanship, and fresh ideas—a piece of the past that is being carried into the future with great passion.

We, the Mühlthaler family, are a family of four with two children and live in a neighboring town.
With great attention to detail, a lot of time, and a great deal of our own effort, we have renovated and furnished this vacation rental step by step.
There are also two other apartments in the house; the separate annex was converted into this vacation rental.
